Switch Gear Automotive is an independent workshop on Riverstone Parade, run by the same team since 2024. The whole idea is simple: tell people what's wrong with their car in language they understand, quote it honestly, fix it properly, and hand it back clean.
Local, independent, accountable
When you deal with us, you deal with the people whose name is on the invoice. No call centres, no commissioned service advisors, no "recommended extras" printed to look mandatory. If a repair keeps your family safe, we'll say so. If it can wait three months, we'll say that too — and we'd rather you come back at 200,000 km than be impressed once.

Every job is done by a qualified mechanic — not handed down the line to whoever's free. Credentials on the wall, old parts on the counter if you want them.

You approve the number before work starts. Anything found beyond the quote gets a phone call and a fresh price — never a surprise on pickup.
Fixed once
We diagnose before we replace. Guessing with parts at your expense isn't a strategy; testing is.
